Thank you for your interest in our function facility. We here at the Abington Ale House & Grille pride ourselves on our award winning food and impeccable service. After reviewing our menu, please contact our management team to answer any questions you might have. Below are a few commonly asked questions. Are there minimum and maximum guest counts? No, Although you must meet a minimum food expediture of $550.00 (Monday thru Thursday) or $850.00 (Friday thru Sunday). Is there a room charge? There is no charge for the function room so long as you meet the required minimum food expeditures. Do I need to pre-order a menu? Yes, all menu choices and guaranteed guest counts are due ten days prior. Is there an extra charge for linens, china or glassware? No, this is all included. Do you require a deposit? Yes, a $100.00 nonrefundable deposit is required to reserve the function room for your event. This deposit is then subtracted from your function total on the day of the function. When do I pay the balance due? The balance of your function is due on the day of the function. We accept cash, bank checks and all major credit cards. Are tax and gratuity included in the menu prices? No, all function prices are subject to a 6.25% Massachusetts Meals Tax. A 15% service gratuity and a 5% function misc. charge will also be added." Can I bring a cake in? Yes you can, we will cut and plate it for you at no additional charge. Can I bring a D.J. in? Yes. How should I handle the service of alcohol? You may have either an open bar, a semi open bar or a cash bar. There is no bar in our function room so all Guests are waited on by our courteous waitstaff. How far in advance should I book? We recommend booking your event a minimum of five months prior. This should assure that the date you are looking for is available.
